Sporting art has a specialist bibliography that never made it into open catalogue data. If a date, an attribution or a sitter here contradicts a published source you know, name the source and it will be checked.
A location that has gone stale
Works in private hands move without announcement. If an entry says a picture is somewhere it left twenty years ago, that is worth reporting even if you cannot say where it went.
